UGC stands for user-generated content. It is video, photo, or written content created by consumers, customers, or audience members rather than by the brand itself. Authentic UGC is unpaid and earned. Paid creator content (often miscalled UGC) is content commissioned from creators that mimics the UGC aesthetic.
